Craig is a licensed Ohio attorney. Since 2000, he has been in the private practice of law, focusing on civil litigation, estate planning, probate administration and litigation, Medicaid issues, civil litigation, Elder Law, Social Security Disability, and business entities law. His prior legal experience includes directing nationwide litigation for a Fortune 400 Corporation, representing one of the largest Department of Defense contractors as outside legal counsel, and serving as an adviser to the U.S. Air Force on estate planning law for military personnel.
As an attorney on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, Craig maintained a 100% conviction rate in court-martial prosecutions. Based on his courtroom success, he was appointed to a litigation specialty position and traveled to various installations throughout the U.S.A. defending military personnel accused of serious crimes, achieving distinction by winning acquittals in 25% of his cases.
As an attorney in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, Craig was the Staff Judge-Advocate in charge of the legal office at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna, Ohio, and also served at the 88th Air Base Wing, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, where he was selected as the Senior IMA.
Craig obtained a law degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. As a law student, he received the highest combined written brief/oral advocacy score in the year-long law school moot court competition, placing second among all finalists in the oral advocacy component, and argued in the final before three Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Judges.
Craig also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the Honors College at Kent State University; graduating with highest distinction on his written thesis and oral dissertation in Philosophy.
